Elizabeth Scott grew up in the Bay Area and earned her BFA in Ceramics from California State University, Long Beach. She is currently pursuing her MFA at the New York State College of Ceramics at Alfred University. Her work explores the body's relationship to memory, grief, trauma, and its capacity for hope, often reflecting personal and collective experiences from a feminist perspective
